Tapfiliate offers a collection of features designed to help you create a seamless and professional onboarding experience.
1. The Affiliate Signup Experience
Your affiliate signup page is the first step in your recruitment process. Tapfiliate provides a dedicated, customizable signup page for your program, or you can use your own.
Where to find your signup link: You can find the unique signup link for your program directly in your Tapfiliate dashboard.
Customizing the page: You can customize this page with your logo, brand colors, and welcome messages to ensure it matches your brand's look and feel.
Using your own page: Alternatively, if you prefer to use a custom signup page on your own website, you can use our API to automatically create affiliates in Tapfiliate once they complete your form.

2. Collecting Affiliate Information (Onboarding Settings)
In the Onboarding section of your settings, you can control what information is collected from new applicants.
Standard Fields: Tapfiliate includes essential fields like name and email by default.
Custom Fields: To get to know your affiliates better, you can add your own custom fields to your onboarding form. This allows you to collect specific information such as social media handles, phone numbers, or tax information.

3. Setting Up Your Payments
Before you launch, it's important to set clear expectations on how and when affiliates will be paid.
Payment Details: The Payments settings allow you to define minimum payout thresholds, payout frequency, and the payout methods you will support (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer).
Affiliate's View: Your affiliates will be able to see their payment status directly from their dashboard.

4. Adding Support Materials & Assets
Providing new affiliates with the right resources is key to their success.
Support Materials: You can add articles, guides, or an FAQ section directly to the affiliate portal. This gives your affiliates a self-service way to find answers to common questions.
Creative Assets: In the Assets section, you can upload banners, videos, and other creative materials. Affiliates can then download and use these for their promotions.
5. Adding Terms of service for your affiliates
Drafting well-defined Terms of Service (ToS) for your affiliate program is crucial for both you and your partners. Consider it a guide that sets the expectations and rules of your collaboration. Let’s explore why having these terms matters and the key elements you should cover. We prepared a Terms of Service template for your convenience.
6. The Affiliates Welcome Experience
A great first impression can significantly increase affiliate engagement.
Default Welcome Message: You can toggle the default welcome message on or off in your general settings.
Custom Welcome Email: For a more personalized touch, you can create your own custom welcome email using our Triggers feature. This allows you to send a branded message with dynamic content to every new affiliate.
By setting up these features, you can create a comprehensive and effective onboarding flow that helps your affiliates feel supported and ready to drive conversions from day one.
