What are Bonuses and How Do They Work?

In Tapfiliate, bonuses are extra incentives offered by the program manager on top of your standard commissions. They are typically tied to specific performance milestones within a set timeframe (e.g., a calendar month).

How they work:

  • Target Metrics: Bonuses are usually based on two things: your Total Conversion Amount (e.g., selling $1,000 worth of products) or your Number of Conversions (e.g., making 100 individual sales).

  • Time-Bound: Each bonus has a "Bonus Period." You must hit the goal before the timer runs out. Once the period ends, the counter resets.

  • Not Cumulative: Bonuses are generally tiered. If you hit a higher tier, you earn that specific reward rather than a sum of all previous tiers.

Where to Check Your Bonuses

You can track your active goals and progress directly within your Affiliate Portal:

  1. Navigate to Programs: Click on the Programs tab in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Select Your Program: Click on the specific program you want to check to open its details.

  3. Select the Bonuses Tab: In the top navigation menu, click on Bonuses.

  4. View Active Bonuses: Here, you will see a list of available incentives like "Spring Sale" or "Yearly Bonus System".

  5. Track Your Progress Bar:

    • Blue (Approved): Conversions that have been verified and count toward your goal.

    • Light Blue (Pending): Conversions currently being reviewed by the manager.

    • Grey (To Go): The remaining amount or number of sales needed to unlock the bonus.

FAQ

❓When do I get paid my bonus?

Bonus commissions are typically generated after the bonus period ends and once all required conversions are approved. If you have questions regarding your specific payout, please reach out to your program manager directly rather than Tapfiliate support.

❓Can I track multiple bonuses at once?

Yes. If the program manager has multiple active incentives and has added you to them (like a seasonal sale and a long-term volume bonus), you can track them simultaneously on the Bonuses tab.

❓What happens if a customer returns a product?

If a conversion is disapproved, it is removed from your progress bar, which may affect your milestone achievement.

❓Do pending conversions count toward the deadline?

As long as the sale occurs before the timer reaches zero, it will count toward that period once it is approved.
