Understanding MLM Results & Earning Potential
The MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) feature allows you to earn commissions not just from your own sales, but from the sales made by affiliates you recruit. This creates a "passive" income stream where your earnings grow as your network expands.
Why it's useful: Instead of relying solely on your individual traffic, you benefit from the combined marketing efforts of your entire team.
Earnings Example: Imagine you earn a 10% commission on personal sales. With an MLM structure, the program might offer you an additional 5% commission on all sales made by your Level 2 sub-affiliates.
If you recruit 5 sub-affiliates who each generate $2,000 in sales, you earn an extra $500 ($10,000 total sales x 5%) without any extra marketing spend on your part. This can easily increase your total earnings by 30–50% as your network matures.
Growing Your Team: MLM & Sub-Affiliates
Not every program offers a multi-level structure. Before you begin, you need to verify if the program allows for sub-affiliate recruitment.
How to Identify an MLM Program: To see if a program includes multi-level rewards, go to the Programs tab in your sidebar and select a specific program. If you see an MLM sub-tab listed alongside other options, that program is enabled for team building.
Recruiting Sub-Affiliates
To start building your network, you need to provide potential partners with your unique recruitment link.
Where to find the link: Navigate to the Programs tab in your sidebar, select your program, and click on the MLM sub-tab. You will see the Sub affiliates recruitment section at the top.
Shortening your link: In the "Shareable link" box, you can toggle the Create short link switch. This converts a long, complex URL into a cleaner, more clickable link that is ideal for social media bios or quick messages.
Tracking your team: Directly below the recruitment section is the Sub affiliates table. This shows:
Name: Who you have recruited.
Level: Their position in your network (e.g., Level 2).
Pending/Approved Commission: A real-time breakdown of the money you've earned from their performance.
FAQ
❓How many levels of sub-affiliates can I earn from?
This depends on the specific program settings. Most programs focus on Level 2 (your direct recruits), but some may extend further. Check the "Level" column in your sub-affiliates table to see your current reach.
❓What happens if a sub-affiliate is "deleted"?
As seen in your dashboard, if a sub-affiliate leaves the program or their account is removed, they will appear as "(deleted)." You generally keep the commissions earned while they were active, but no further income will be generated from that slot.
❓Is there a limit to how many sub-affiliates I can recruit?
Typically, there is no limit. The more active, high-performing affiliates you recruit, the higher your potential for recurring passive commission.
❓When do MLM commissions get paid out?
The timing of your payouts depends entirely on your Program Manager. Please note that Tapfiliate is the software provider and does not handle payments or payout schedules directly. For questions regarding payment dates, minimum thresholds, or methods, please contact the program administrator directly.
