Learn about how Tapfiliate calculates your bill

Plans are billed monthly and composed of a base rate & additional fees that may be applied:

  • Overage fees: If you go over your plan's allocated number of clicks or conversions, an overage fee will be automatically applied to your next bill. The overage fees differ slightly per plan - check out the pricing page for more information.

  • Plan Upgrade: When you upgrade your plan, we prorate your account. Your plan will be upgraded immediately, and you will be charged for the upgrade in your next invoice (which will consist of the regular subscription fee + the proration fee). For more information, refer to our Terms of Service.

  • VAT (EU only): If you're located in the EU and have not added your VAT ID, Tapfiliate is required to add a 21% VAT to your monthly invoice. This means you will be charged more.

Note: We do not take commission on any conversions tracked. You only pay for the plan you've chosen, and any possible extras that apply to your specific case.


Tracking events

Note: Only relevant for accounts created before April 2, 2016

Tracking events used to be part of our old billing system. Tapfiliate keeps track of three different types of events:

  1. Clicks: Each time a banner or text link is clicked.

  2. Conversions: All of your conversions generated by your affiliates.

  3. Trigger actions: If you make use of our 'Triggers' feature, each triggered action counts as a tracking event.

A tracking event is a record of any of these events. 

Please check your subscription to see how many tracking events are included within your plan.
