How to Set Up the Account Currency

This guide explains how to choose the account currency and use it across your account reporting.

What this guide covers

Choosing the account currency

Why you need a unified currency for your account:

  • To see how much you owe in a single amount

  • To estimate your spends for the upcoming payment

  • To easily compare the program costs month to month - regardless of which currencies you use to track the conversion records.

You can choose your account currency in the Profile Settings > Currency:

Choose between USD and EUR based on which currency you are using for your business transactions/monitoring.

Viewing the earnings: all in one currency

You can check how much you owe in commissions via the different reporting slices. Access your Reports page > General overview:

💡 You can also apply these currency options and switch between them when exploring the other Reports sections (Affiliate, Date, OS, etc.).

How it works:

  • When you need the detailed data on the conversions/commissions in a specific currency (or in a currency it was initially tracked in), you can switch to the chosen currency view

  • When you want to see the summary of earnings converted into your chosen account currency (EUR or USD), you should apply the All (USD)/All (EUR) view.

The difference between the Program Currency and the Account Currency

You might wonder now - why would you need to choose an account currency if you have already set one on the program level?

✔️ The program currency is assigned to your conversions and commissions tracked, in case you haven't specified an alternate currency in the tracking data.

✔️ The account currency allows for viewing the reporting data converted into a single currency, regardless of the currency used when tracking.
