Plan Availability & Add-ons

Please note that these advanced link features are available based on your current subscription plan:

  • Scale & Enterprise Plans: Short links and Deep links are included in your plan by default.

  • Launch Plan: These features are not included by default. However, you can purchase them as an add-on. To enable these for your account, please contact our support team for assistance.

What are Short Links and Deep Links?

To help your affiliates succeed, you can provide them with tools that make their promotions look cleaner and work more efficiently.

Short Links

Short links take a long affiliate URL (filled with referral codes and IDs) and condense it into a small, attractive link.

  • Why affiliates prefer them: Partners favor these links because they hide complex tracking parameters, making the URL much shorter and cleaner for embedding directly into content.

  • Why use them? They are perfect for social media (like Instagram or X/Twitter) where character space is limited and "messy" links can look suspicious to users.

  • Example: * Before: brand.com/shop/product-category/item-name?ref=8273&subid=january

    • After: brand.link/january-sale

Deep Links

Deep links allow affiliates to link directly to a specific product or landing page rather than just your homepage.

  • Why use them? They remove "clicks" from the customer journey. If a customer sees a specific product in an affiliate post, a deep link takes them straight to that item, which can increase conversion rates by up to 50%.

  • Example: A link that goes directly to brand.com/blue-suede-shoes instead of just brand.com.

Setup: Enabling Access for Affiliates

To give your affiliates access to these tools, follow these steps in your advertiser dashboard:

  1. Open Settings: Click the Settings (gear icon) on the bottom-left sidebar.

  2. Navigate to Links: Under the "Affiliate Portal" menu, click on Links.

  3. Toggle Permissions:

    • Find the Short links section and toggle the switch to On.

    • Find the Deep links section and toggle the switch to On.

  4. Save Changes: Ensure you click the blue Save button for each section.

Once enabled, your affiliates will see a "Link Generator" tool in their portal where they can create these custom links themselves. (GIF)

FAQ

❓If an affiliate creates a short link, does the tracking still work?

Yes! The system wraps the original affiliate ID inside the short link, so all clicks and sales are still accurately attributed.

❓Can I limit deep links to specific pages only?

By default, deep linking allows affiliates to link to any page on your domain. This gives them the flexibility to promote specific blog posts or new product arrivals instantly.

❓I am on the Launch plan and the toggle is locked. What do I do?

On the Launch plan, these are premium features. Please reach out to our support team to have them added to your account as an add-on.
