Tapfiliate offers three robust tools for affiliate communication, allowing you to tailor your message for every stage of their journey:

This block is permanently displayed on the main dashboard and cannot be hidden by the affiliate. It's ideal for critical information like: team contact details, links to core training guides, or specific template examples (like the ones in your screenshot).

2. Automated Welcome Messages (within Affiliate Portal Settings)

Approved AND Pending Affiliates

These are customizable primary messages that appear on the portal pages immediately after registration or approval. They set the initial communication tone.

3. Triggers

Various Events (e.g., "New Affiliate Registered," "Commission Approved")

Allows you to create custom automated email messages for a wide range of events, including an affiliate's approval or rejection. Perfect for personalized, timely email outreach.

Communicating Based on Status

It is crucial to adjust your Welcome Message based on the affiliate's status:

Adding a welcome message is the best way to direct your affiliates to key resources (like your affiliate guide or asset library) immediately after they sign up or are approved.

1. Navigate to the Welcome Message Settings

  1. From your main dashboard, go to the Settings menu.

  2. Under the Affiliate Portal section (on the left sidebar), select Welcome message.

2. Add Welcome Messages

In the Welcome messages settings, you will see two main message boxes, allowing you to tailor your communication based on the affiliate's status:

  1. Message for Approved Affiliates: This message is seen only by partners whose application has been accepted.

  2. Message for Pending Affiliates: This message is seen by users waiting for manual approval.

You can easily enrich your message content:

  • Hover over the message field, click the + icon, and choose from options to add links, visuals, or video content.

The key to effective communication is tailoring your message to the affiliate's current status. You need to tell an approved partner something very different than one who is still waiting for review.
