Your affiliates' default marketing asset is their referral link - this is generated the very moment they sign up and is made available to them from the moment they are approved to join your program.
But what if you have a wealth of other assets you'd like your affiliates to share with their audiences?
With Tapfiliate, you can easily upload additional marketing assets and place them at your affiliates' fingertips.
That way, your affiliates can confidently fetch, post and share your marketing images & pre-made content to help promote your business in just a few clicks. Not only does this aid them in their promotional efforts, but they will also earn commission if someone accesses your website through the assets they've shared.

Once you upload assets to your program, your affiliates will have access to these on the "Assets Wall" and be able to share them directly to their social channels, or embed them on their websites.
After you have uploaded your asset, we will automatically attach referral parameters to the provided landing page URL.

Creating & adding your marketing assets
To create assets, go to your Assets tab.
On the top-right of the page, you'll find the "New asset" button.
When you click on this button, a window will open. In this window, you'll be able to choose your asset type, and provide the information needed to create the asset.
Note: Each asset type has its own requirements. These will be listed alongside the type of asset you choose from the drop-down list.

Where can my affiliates find their assets?ย
The Assets Wall
Any asset that you upload will be added to the Assets wall, where it will be displayed to your affiliates. Here, your affiliates can see their referral link and available assets. If they have a dedicated coupon assigned to them, they'll also see this too.
The more high-quality assets you supply your affiliates, the more successful they'll be!
What channels can they share to?
Currently, your affiliates can share content to:
Twitter
Facebook
LinkedIn
Pinterest
And through email
If your affiliates have a website, they'll also be able to fetch embed codes that they can use to publish their assets on their channels.

FAQ
Can I upload banners larger than 150kb?
No, it's not possible to upload banners larger than 150kb. This limit is the same as the big players like Google use, and for one good reason: Larger files could hurt your affiliates' click-through rates, as they are heavier and take more time to load.
You can try to compress your images to meet the requirements. One commercially available option is ImageOptim.
Can my affiliates deep link to specific products?
Yes, your affiliates can deep link by following the steps in this dedicated deep linking guide.
Can I share content on Instagram?
Instagram is a great marketing tool for many e-commerce businesses, but the platform itself has several limitations when it comes to affiliate marketing:
Linking is not supported on Instagram posts. You can post a link in your Instagram post, but the link won't be clickable. It will only post as plain text.
Clickable links are possible in the biography of the Instagram user and in Stories. The biography section is a place where Instagram allows clickable links. Any other clickable items you might have seen on Instagram are found either in paid ads, or in Stories.
โInstagram currently does not offer a way for us to share image content on their platform.
To work around this limitation, what most marketeers who use Instagram do, is promote via coupon codes. These can be used as a way to track conversions back to the affiliate that drove it, and issue commission accordingly.
Depending on your use case and platform, setting up coupon tracking may require the help of a developer. Technical documentation for setting up coupons can be found here.
