At the top of the email body, you can see the options 'Plain text' and 'HTML'. Below we'll go into detail about what each option entails.

Plain Text

Plain text is text with no styling. This means that what you write - including breaks - is what you get. Plain and simple.

Example

          Hello ${affiliate.firstname}!

          Welcome to the program!

          Best,

          Tapfiliate.

HTML

For users who have a clear understanding of how to code in HTML, and who'd like to take their formatting to a different level, we have the ability to create and adjust your messages using HTML.

If you are sending newsletters using a mass email app (like MailChimp or any other), it is advisable to copy/paste the entire HTML coding into the body of the notification:

Example

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"/>
<title>Email title or subject</title>

<style type="text/css">
