Welcome to Tapfiliate! Whether you are an E-commerce store looking to scale sales via bloggers, or a SaaS company rewarding consultants for subscriptions, your journey begins with our Getting Started Guide (GSG).

Setting up your core program typically takes only 15–30 minutes. We designed Tapfiliate to be "Easy to Use," ensuring you can quickly set up your account, define your commission structure, and start recruiting affiliates without delay. Let's launch your program!

Why Launch an Affiliate Program (Quick Use Cases)

New users often look for assurance that an affiliate program is right for their business. Here are common reasons why companies launch their first program:

  • E-commerce Stores: To scale sales by rewarding bloggers and review sites who recommend physical products (e.g., earn 1–10% commission).

  • SaaS/Software: To attract industry experts and consultants who promote subscriptions, often via lucrative recurring commissions.

  • Digital Products (Courses, eBooks): To partner with creators who earn a high percentage of the sale (e.g., 20–50% commission) by promoting digital goods to their loyal audience.

Why This Matters

Your first program establishes the foundation for your entire affiliate network, defining the commission structure, your brand identity, and how affiliates will interact with your business environment.

Your Essential Roadmap: The Getting Started Guide

The simplest way to quickly get your program running is to follow the Getting Started Guide (GSG). This guide is located directly within your dashboard and provides the complete walkthrough you need to set up your entire program.


🛠 Your Launch Checklist

1. Configure Your Program

Action: Click "Create Program" Think of this as your "Offer." You’re defining what your affiliates will promote and what they get in return.

  • Program Name: This is the public name visible to your affiliates. Choose something recognizable.

  • Landing Page: Where should affiliates send their traffic? (Usually your homepage or a top-selling product).

  • Currency: Select the currency for tracking and commission calculations.

  • Commission Rate: This is your biggest magnet for talent.

    • Tip: Physical products usually range from 1–10%, while SaaS and Digital products often offer 20–50%.

Note: All fields are required. If you miss something, the field will turn red to guide you. Clicking Save & Continue will jump you straight to the next step.

Validation & Navigation:

  • Save & Continue: This will redirect you to the Integrations page to start Step 2.

  • Existing Setup: If you’ve already integrated your site, this button will simply say "Save" and keep you on the dashboard.


2. Activate Tracking

Action: Click "Connect Your Product"

This is the most important technical step in your journey. Think of it as the "bridge" between your store and your affiliate program.

Why It Matters:

  • Essential Tracking: Without this connection, Tapfiliate cannot "see" the sales your partners are making. Proper integration ensures every click, conversion, and sale is captured accurately, which means your affiliates are paid correctly and stay motivated.

  • Automation: Once connected, the system works in the background, automatically calculating commissions so you can focus on growing your business instead of manual math.

How to Complete This Step:

  1. Redirect to the Catalogue: Clicking "Connect Your Product" will take you directly to our Integration Catalogue.

  2. Choose Your Platform: We offer dedicated plugins for popular platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and Stripe, as well as a Universal Tracking Code for custom-built websites.

  3. Follow the Guide: Each integration comes with a simple, step-by-step setup guide tailored to your specific tool.

  4. Completion: This step will automatically switch to "Completed" as soon as our system receives its first "handshake" (the first data point, such as a test click or a real conversion) from your platform.

📢 3. Invite Affiliates

Action: Click "Add Affiliates"

Your system is live - now it’s time to recruit! Opening this form gives you three ways to grow your network:

  1. Method 1: Sign-up Link: Click "Copy Link" to grab your unique affiliate registration URL.

    • Where to share: Add this to your website footer, email signature, or social media bios.

  2. Method 2: Manual Invite: Use the "Add via form" pop-up to manually add partners you already know. They will receive an automated email invitation.

  3. Method 3: CSV Import: For bulk uploading a large list of existing partners, use the redirect to our Import tool.

Note: If you aren't ready to invite anyone yet, check the "I'll add affiliates later" box and click "Finish Guide" to mark the step as complete.


The "All Set" Moment

  • Once you’ve completed all three steps, keep an eye out for the "Woohoo! You're All Set!" celebration.

  • Pro Tip: You don't have to use the guide buttons. If you decide to add affiliates or change your settings through the main side-menu, the guide is smart enough to recognize your progress and will mark those steps as "Complete" automatically!
