Navigate to Settings > General in the menu.
Scroll down to the Notification settings section.
Locate the option:
"Send my affiliates an email when they are approved for a program. This email will contain the affiliate prospect's referral link and more info about the program."Toggle this option Off to disable the default welcome email sent by Tapfiliate.
Now that the default email is disabled, you can create your own welcome email, follow these simple steps to create an automated welcome email in Tapfiliate:
Go to Triggers
Navigate to the Triggers section in your Tapfiliate dashboard.
Create a New Trigger
Click the + New Trigger button at the top right of the screen.
A new page will open for you to set up the trigger.
3. Define the Trigger Event
Under the Trigger when this happens section, select Affiliated approved for program. This will activate the welcome email when a new affiliate joins your program.
4. Add the Email Notification
Under Email Notification, you can now add the subject of the email. For example, "Welcome to the [Your Company Name] Affiliate Program!"
Customize the body of the email with a welcome message for your new affiliates.
When setting up the Email Notification, click on the {...} in the subject line to view all available variables for both the affiliate and the program. These variables allow you to personalize the welcome email automatically based on the affiliate’s details and program information, such as:
Affiliate:
ID, Name, Email, Password, Coupon, Referral Code, Referral Link, etc.
Program:
ID, Title
These variables make the process automated and personalized for your affiliates!
5. Save the Trigger
Once you’re happy with your settings, click Save to activate your welcome email trigger.
